Need some advice on my registry?

We are having a girl, and I was so excited and registered for a lot of pink items. A pink/brown pack and play, car seat, stroller.

We plan on having more children, hopefully 2 years apart.

My question is: Should I register for more gender neutral items, so they may be used with another child, if the next is a boy???

I feel like it may be a waste if I am unable to use these items for the next baby, or the one after.

Thanks for any advice :)

Re: Need some advice on my registry?

Well, I don't think that if you have a boy, he'll mind sleeping in a brown/pink pack and play.
They do make seat covers for car seats.

I always go for basic colors for seats/strollers and pack and plays though.

Re: Need some advice on my registry?

I got gender neutral things like a Pack N play, stroller and most major things - except the bouncer - that is pink.

I'm registering for neutral big things - travel system, pnp, etc. Bedding and other fun stuff will be for my little boy.

Re: Need some advice on my registry?

I suggest gender neutral for the car seats, full size stroller, pack n play and high chair.
You will probably get another light weight/umbrella stroller for #2 anyway depending on how much you use it.

def. gender neutral. We plan on hanging more children and def. what have the room or money to buy everything all over again. The only thing not neutral will be the nursery bedding

Re: Need some advice on my registry?

even though we are Chat Icon we would have gone neutral anyway. those big items are too expensive, IMO, to buy twice if we don't have to. clothes, decorations, toys, blankets, etc. can be colored for gender!

Re: Need some advice on my registry?

Definately go gender neutral- especially strollers and car seats. If you are having them close together, you really don't want to re-buy all that stuff. Its so expensiveChat Icon

Re: Need some advice on my registry?

I'm a bit biased, because we prefer more gender neutral stuff...

but I would definitely make the furniture and major items (packnplay, swing, stroller, carseats) gender neutral. the last thing you want to have to do is repurchase any of those Chat Icon

Re: Need some advice on my registry?

go neutral with most things. Like if u registered for a pink pack and play register for a brown/tan one. Or if u got a pink stroller set register for a gender neutral one. I will be using DS old carseat and stroller for DD b/c its gender neutral. We didnt find out last time so we had everything gender neutral.

I agree as well.

With DC#1, I didn't find out the gender and apart from the surprise being amazing, it was the best decision I made because everything we have is gender neutral. Thanks to that, I haven't needed to buy anything more gender appropriate for the other two.Chat Icon

Re: Need some advice on my registry?

We registered for a neutral stroller and car seat. (I didn't chose my pack and play yet.) You could register for a pink bundle me to make the infant carrier more girly.
