Need some healthy snack ideas....
for Andrew because he is starting his preschool "camp" this coming Monday!! He goes every day from 9-12 and he need to bring a snack with him. Nothing too elaborate (can't be heated) and its a peanut free school (nothing with peanut butter). And no popcorn is allowed either. He's 3, but I am trying to stay away from anything too messy as well.
So far, I can think of:
small red delicious apple (he eats these a lot)
pack of Bachman pretzel sticks
baggie of goldfish
fruit snacks
Teddy Grahams
string cheese
what else? Why am I blanking.... It's n ot like he doesn't snack, he eats all day, I am just not sure what to pack as I've never done this before.
Oh, he'll have a juice box or other drink with him each day along with the snack.

my kids love the 100 calorie packs of just about anything
and bananas
carrots and ranch dressing
pretzel sticks.

Goldfish
bags of dried fruit (you know the crispy kind not the chewy ones)
earths best snack bars

I don't have many suggestions to all the good ones already listed...
dry cereal (I do a Cheerio/Kix/Craisin trail mix)
whole wheat crackers
plain bagel chips
pita chips and hummus
Dole fruit cups
cereal bard
applesauce
