I never updated this!
All is well. Everything worked out!!! We can insure the baby under DH's insurance for 1 month (less than $70, plus copays) then switch him over to Child Health Plus - about the same price per month, but no copays!!
I called our family ped and left a msg with the receptionist that there was a baby on the way and he was so excited. He asked where I'd be delivering and said he'd be there to meet the tiny guy
Crisis averted!

We met with the ped a week before the baby was born. Dh and I were already on a family plan, so all we had to do was add her.
I hope everything works out okay for you guys! I'm sure it will, but nothing like getting the pregnant woman worked up in the third tri.
