need some potty training tips...
my daughter is 25 months old. for the last 3 months, she has been asking to use the potty and when i put her on it she just sits there and plays with the toilet paper. she gets the idea of what goes on there but doesn't actually make. she did poopy once but that's all.
any good tips on how to get her to actually use the potty?
ETA: at what age did you start training ur son/daughter??

Re: need some potty training tips...
DD was a little younger than your DD when she started showing interest...but same thing - she did it on the potty randomly once or twice.
Then she lost interest.
When she was about 30 months, I realized she'd been dry overnight, so we started trying in earnest....we just switched to pull-ups at first, and her interest and success increased
When it started fading again, we got out the stickers...when she peed/pooped on the potty, she got to put stickers on....a few weeks later and we were DONE!

Re: need some potty training tips...
I'm sold on the DVD "Potty Power". I borrowed it from the libraru & then ended up buying my own copy..
The focus is on helping children feel empowered & "grown up" by saying goodbye to diapers.
It wes VERY motivating to my DD.
