Need some reassurance from you guys........anyone experience this???
Hi Girls,
I just found out last week that I am pregnant with #2. The problem is my hcG levels have been on the lower side and not increasing quickly, although still increasing. My progesterone is very good. The RE said it can go either way at this point, they just aren't sure. I have another beta on Tuesday. Here are my numbers.
Saturday - My hcG was 16 and progesterone was 23.
Monday - My hcG was 26 and progesterone was 17.
Thursday - My hcG was 44 and progesterone was 18.
So.........have any of you girls had a low hcG # and/or slow to rise hcG and everything turned out fine with your pregnancy? Please shed some light. I am trying to be hopeful but it's hard. Right now it's just a waiting game.
TIA!!

How far along do you think you are...could you actually be earlier than you think?

No I am not earlier, I have conception down to the day because I had a trigger shot and IUI and was closely monitored by the RE throughout. I wish that were the case though. No matter how I calculate it I am 18DPO/18DPIUI.

I had low hcg levels at the start of BOTH my pg's... I remember they told me to only be "cautiously optimistic" both times, not to "get my hopes up". For me, both times after a slow start, the levels did shoot up. Like you I knew precisely the day I conceived.
I know how stressful this wait is.

They would have liked to see the hcG around 80 today so obviously it's only about half that. I want to say it's a good sign it's still increasing but it's just not increasing fast enough. I am trying not to read too much online because I am freaking myself out about ectopic pregnancies and miscarriages. Too much info is a bad thing sometimes.

Re: Need some reassurance from you guys........anyone experience this???
My numbers were rising so slow with my DD that they pretty much told me to prepare myself for a miscarriage. She's now 9 months old and healthy as can be!
I completely opted out of doing my HCG numbers this time around because those numbers can be so inaccurate and deceiving, they just end up causing so much worry!
I hope everything turns out okay for you!

Wow!! That is amazing. (and so wonderful for you too!!) I really hope I am as lucky as you. Part of me says it's great they are rising despite how slowly. I am trying to stay positive. Thanks for making me feel better.

One of my best friends who lives in FL had her first beta come back at 4, and went back 3 days alter and it was only 21, she is now 6 weeks, and doing great. So don't give up hope.
Best of luck.

I actually don't remember my betas for my second DC, but for my first DC I do remember I had a beta of 27 and they told me not to get my hopes up. I don't remember what the followup beta was, but it still wasn't good. Then the next one after that, it had shot up
