Need to stop lurking
my heart is heavy this month with disappointment and I need to stop lurking here and start talking...I hope it's okay.
This was our 3rd month trying and we really thought we had it. We tried to follow Deanna's plan. We BD the night before my  , the night of and the two nights after...we really thought this was our month. But AF showed up a day early and broke my heart.
I haven't lost sight of how fortunate I am to have my son nor how early in the game we are...but the disappointment and fear is still real.
I'm confused...I understand so much more now about conception, timing, etc than I did with my son...so why was it so much easier with him.  Maybe knowlege isn't always power...it's certainly making my fear worse now.
My intention wasn't a poor me post...but it sure seems that way. I really wanted to introduce myself and tell you all how thankful I am that you all post such helpful information here. I can't tell you how many questions you've helped answer...and I really appreciate it.
So on to the next month but I wanted to finally post on here. I have to let it go...it's been two sad days.

i'm truly sorry that you are having a rough 'go' of it right now...we all know the feelings you are having VERY WELL...you are not alone...vent away - that's what we're here for!

This is our second month. I thought after DS that it was all set for #2. That I would get PG on the 1st month. Ain't so!

Thank you all so much...I really appreciate your support and hope to return it.
You have all made putting a voice to this a lot easier to deal with for me...I should have done it a while back.

Welcome!I kind of know how you are feeling. This is our 3rd month trying for #2 and I know I am going to be really sad if it doesn't happen this month.
It was so much easier with #1 and while we should never expect ttc to be easy we do and then its such a kick in the gut to not succeed on round 1.
Part of me is so thankful for DD #1 when so many girls on her are trying so hard for #1 but the funny thing is now that I have one it makes me want #2 even more.
Hang in there and this is the BEST board - open arms, lots of answers and many and always.

Oh Ang - I was actually going to FM you sometime this week to see how you were doing.
You know I am right there with you. This is month three of trying for us also - and I already know in my heart that I am out. Don't know how/why I feel this way - but I do.
You know that I am here for you - we can go through it all together again!
And, I think it's great that you stopped lurking - for me - it helps so much to share with people going through the same things!

Thanks Diana!!! You know I would very much love to be back on pregnancy with you! I am still rooting for you...I want your BFP like I want my own. This way I can follow you over.

I know how frustrating it is.
Glad you stopped lurkig and started posting!

i know how dissapointing TTC can be.. even if you only have been trying a month or 2.. .it still hurts to see AF come.. even though we do everything right..and time BD.. its not guaranteed unfortunately.. i wish you the BEST of luck.. and we are ALL here to help you and support you!!!

I see you a lot on the parenting board, welcome to TTC. The women here are the best, so supportive, caring and helpful.
I am in a similar boat as you, got PG with DS the first try, if you can even call it a try. This time around got PG the 2nd month, but lost that pregnancy very early and now I just got my first AF since then.

We were pg with DS on the first try and now on month 4 of TTC #2 so I know how you feel...hang in there and keep positive!!! Hopefully it will happen for us all very soon!!!
