I can't spend too much time on this board, I don't like to think about it...
I am such a planner by nature that I am now wondering about NY weddings in May, March I was suppose to fly out and see my sister's baby...I know not to put my life on hold, but this is all sort of a shock to my system.
We got pregnant with Josh in a night.
Last month's BFN was a real slap in the face.
I can't look at a calendar, I will obsess over dates.
I am so grateful that Leo wanted to TTC last month and pushed me towards it. I sort of wish we would have started sooner, but its okay.

I am glad I stopped lurking too..I think this board will be even more helpful if I am an active participant in the dicussions...it'll get me back into positive thinking instead of holding it all in.

it took us 5 cycles to conceive last time, and i remember the sadness and fear with each bfn... now that we are starting to try again (this will be our first month ttc), i am trying not to get stressed out. but the fear is always in the back of my mind...
we will all get through this!

I feel the exact same way! I just got AF Sunday and that was our 3rd months TTC. With DD it happened the first month so I have been having my own little pity party even though I know I am very fortunate.

All I can say is that you cannot predict anything. It took me how long to get PG with Noah...years and then Boom, I was able to get PG how quickly on a fluke after?
You cannot predict the body nor what it will do.
My Dr. once explained an average person with no health issues has a 25% chance of getting PG naturally each month.
Thats kinda low ya know? So the odds are it might take some time, but it WILL happen.
I dont know if that will make you feel better or worse. I know its hard to wait, believe me I know.....But I think its more frustrating to think you did it all right and nothing happened. That really doesnt mean anything. Theres too many variables. The timing has to be right and this month it wasnt. I PRAY for you that next month is

Don't lose your hope....stay positive and keep trying. Don't put so much pressure on yourself....sometimes when we want something SO bad, life has a funny way of making us wait for it. But I completely understand your frustration. I don't like to see you sad 
Think of it this way...It just give us more time to get PG together!!

I feel the same way! It was sort of a surprise (not necessarily planned but not prevented) when I got pregnant with my son.
I thought that this time would be so easy and it is not.
When AF came I cried my eyes out. I think I had a chemical pregnancy last month and ovulation was very late this month.
I am praying that it happens very soon for all of us!

I am so sorry for your disappointment. I went through something similar in July-I felt we timed it perfectly, etc and still I got a BFN and AF. I think we have all been there and know how hard it is so you should not feel bad about a "poor me" post-TTC can be really stressful. You can post about your disappointment (and eventually your joy!) anytime you need to.

Me too. I try not to lurk on this board and if I keep calculating dates I might go nutty. AF has come this month for me as well and I was very disappointed.

I feel the same way. I say all of the time that I am more stressed this time around because I know too much. With DS I also didnt know much and I got pg after 3 months of trying. AF just came and this will be month number 3 TTC #2. DH thinks that I am crazy for worrying so much
