Thanks everyone
We decided to do five days in the amalfi coast starting in naples and the last day in sorrento with day trips in between. we also want to visit Tuscany.
then we will take the train to Greece and spend 5 days in Mikonos.
Sounds wonderful!! I am so excited for you.
Let me know if there is some extra room in that suitcase of yours. I have been dieting ya know.

Paris would be my choice...then again I speak the language and would like to use it. Using it in New Orleans and Canada does not feel the same.

Congrats!!! How exciting! Id choose Greece. But friends of mine just got back from Italy and LOVED it and said they didnt end up spending a ton of money (like they thought they would) while they were there. They spent 10 days in 3 different cities.

You can go island to island via ferry, plane or hydrofoil.
