Need your HONEST opinion PLEASE Re: girl name
DH loves the name Aurora. Her nn will be Rori, which I like as well but I'm not sold on Aurora. I like it but don't love it. It's odd sounding to me and I feel she might be made fun of. He thinks I'm silly. His whole family is routing for Aurora(Rori)
My one friend feels it's awful and she thinks she'll be made fun of too.
Honestly what do you think???
If we don't choose Aurora, we're going with Anna Sophia.

why would she be made fun of for aroura? I think its nice, its different and I like different personally. But I also love anna sophia!!

I don't think there's anything wrong with it, think Rori is a cute nickname and don't think Aurora is name that would be made fun of.

I think they are both nice names, but I prefer Anna Sophia..i think it's more timeless

I am the biggest Disney fan so I think Aurora is nice. It was the princess in sleeping beauty, plus i like names that not every child has!! Maybe wait until you see her and choose

There is nothing wrong with Aurora, it's a cute name but it may be hard for a child to say with all the R's... it may come out as "Ah-woh-wah" for a while.

I really like Anna Sophia -- its beautiful!
But honestly, I dont like the name Aurora at all. JMO. I dont necessarily thin she would be made fun of though, I just dont like the name.

I just think kids will roar like a lion when they say her name. I'm a nut what can I say...
I love Rori though...
Anyway, it'll be a boy since I have no bedroom for him.

I voted for Anna Sophia, Aurora is nice as well but I think you and your hubby should compromise on a name that you both love.

i am partial to anna sophia though, but as a whole name (ie. not just anna). i had a little girl in my class three years ago named this and she went by "phia" for short which i thought was too cute.

She WILL be called AnnaSophia one name. I just didn't get into that on here. I LOVE phia! too cute is right.
There is a young acctress that I adore named AnnaSophia Robb. That is where I got the name from.

See I love the name because I love Sleeping Beauty, but I wasn't sold on it for a "real name" UNTIL you posted your other DD's names. I think it would fit in much better with their names. They are so unique and Anna seems well sorta plain next to them. JMHO
