Nervous about HSG today **UPDATE**
UPDATE***
It was good! No pain at all, except the speculum at first. Then he couldn't find my cervix, so we had to "adjust" and then when he put it back in, it was WAY more comfortable. Then after that, nothing, I didn't feel anything. I saw the screen the whole time and saw my right fallopian tube, but not my left. Then he had me turn a bit and added more comtrast and then he said it was PK, maybe a small blockage.
So I am hoping he "cleared the pipes" and this will be our month, I O sometime in the next 2-3 days, so I have some catching up to do
Thank you for ll of the encourgement ladies, I had nearly talked myself out of the test as I was laying there waiting for the radiologist! But then while the test was going on I realized I will do anything I can to fullfill our dreams of having another baby! I just needed to convince me!

Good luck!!!
I took 2 Tylenol an hour before mine. I had some cramping while they were injecting the dye, but from when they injected it until i was done was maybe 5 minutes (it would be longer if there were blockages). Then i took 2 more tylenol a few hours later and i was fine. I might not have even needed the other tylenol, but i didnt want to take the chance on getting really bad cramps. The test wasn't bad though. When they first inject the dye, the cramp felt really strong to me, but it was bearable and over fast enough.

this test will put you one step closer to a BFP and deep down, you know it.
it's a great start to getting some answers..

Hang in there!
Take 2 Motrin 2 hours before.. and 1 more 30 minutes before, and you'll be fine!
It's uncomfortable but nowhere near excruciating!
You'll be okay
And you all least have some answers or be able to rule another thing out! PLUS you get the added benefit of being at least a little more fertile afterwards!
