Nervous- UPDATE with bloodwork results
I'm 14dpo today, got a BFP 2 days ago, and I went to the bathroom before and saw a red spot on my pantyliner about the size of a pen tip. I freaked out and didn't see anything when I wiped. I've gone to the bathroom a bunch of times since and don't see anything. Uhh this scares me so much. I just it will all be ok this time around.
***********************************
UPDATE: Today I'm 4 weeks and 3 days along. The dr. just called and said my HCG is 430 and progesterone is 17.6 She said the numbers are great and guessed based on them that I was about 4 weeks and just missed my period.
So now 2 questions for you girls.
#1- I have another script to get my levels checked because I had asked for 2 when I called last week. When would you go back? Wednesday or would you wait until next week?
#2- She said that the best time to come for the sono is 7-8 weeks. So I wanted to schedule it after I was 7 weeks, but my original dr that I see wouldn't be there that week. So I made it the week before which would make me 6 weeks 6 days pregnant. Would you say don't worry about the dr you see and just go the week after when I'm already into week 7? I just want to make sure that when I go I definitely see something.
Thanks so much girls. I'm still a nervous wreck!!!!

Re: Nervous
With my last DS I had some spotting and he's 1 now. I know how you feel. I am praying for you. Spotting in the beginning is normal. Can be from implantation

I agree with this. I wouldnt worry too much about it. As long as its not much blood and not accompanied with bad cramps I think you're fine. have youve gone to the Dr. to have blood work done?

Thanks girls. I haven't seen it again at all. Uhhhh I wish I hadn't seen it at all. Freaked me out because it was red. I get my blood taken at the lab Monday morning and will tell them about it when they call with the results. I pray this is a healthy pregnancy

Re: Nervous
I agree with Betty, it's hard to handle seeing blood when you want to be pregnant and have a baby. Stay positive we are al here for you.

Re: Nervous- UPDATE with bloodwork results
I would go for a beta on Wednesday and ask to come in at 6wks for a sono.
That's the way the REs do it!! Good luck!!

Re: Nervous- UPDATE with bloodwork results
Lots of prayers!!
I went for two betas and they were drawn 48 hours apart to make sure the number was doubling. Mine more than doubled so they stopped checking at that point but if there was concern they would have checked again in another 48 hours.
They had me wait for my sonogram. It was really hard waiting. My appointment was set around 9 weeks but I got a sneak peek at 8 weeks. I'm actually glad I waited because once I saw the and saw the heart beating I became so much more attached emotionally which has made me even more nervous and worried.
It is not easy after a loss. The only advice I have is to try and remain as calm as possible and stay positive. Worrying won't change anything.
Lots of luck

Thanks so much! My hcg came back at 1,158 today and progesterone up to 21.5 I'm so happy. Still nervous, but I'm going to try to let it go. No more temping either since the fluctuations make me scared.
