NEVER BUY ONLINE AT OLDNAVY.COM!!!!..**UPDATE**
I'm so displeased with the service of Oldnavy!!! I ordered items on Sunday and they still have not been shipped out!!! I have called them and on Tuesday they said it should be shipping today..now it's Friday and the status is still saying "procecssing"...I called them again..and they apologize that these items have not shipped but should be shipping soon! I told them this is the last time I shop online and will not shop there again. I have ordered all my other items from other stores and have received them already! They claim since the holiday is approaching that things maybe be delayed! I told him then someone should alert the customer not keep them waiting and wondering what is going on! On their site it says order by 12/20 to get by 12/23! Ummm...that's a lie cause that's not gonna happen....False Advertising!!!!! All it is is 2 items..how the hell can it take 5 days to ship these out?????
So PO'ed about this!!!!!!!!
I am giving them till Monday..and if these items are still not shipped I will be talking a manager!!! This is crazy!!!!
Has anyone else had a problem like me with Old Navy???

Its only 12/2. Im sure they were overloaded from Cyber Monday... was it something you needed immediately?
ETA: honestly, i just dont think this is a reason to tell people not to buy ON.com

I order from them all them all the time and I have never had an issue. They were crazy overloaded with sales from black Friday so I am not surprised that they are running behind.

It was for a b-day gift!!!!!!
And the rep shouldn't of told me it was shipping today(Tuesday) They should of been honest. Other companies were probablly overloaded too..but I already received my stuff and they were all ordered on the same day!

I dont think thats a long time TBH. Hey...the disney store takes MUCH longer!!
I ordered from the disney store Friday and didnt receive yet and it says it wasnt shipped either. But I expect this.
Crazy 8 took 2 weeks for a delivery.
The only one who's been sending SOOO fast is shutterfly!!!

I ordered stuff on Thanksgiving and got it yesterday. Not one problem with ordring from them ever.

Good point. But other companies probably don't sell winter coats and fleeces for like $5 .
Sorry your gift didn't get there in time. I ordered stuff last week and just got a email notification this morning that its being shipped today. Tis' the season....

Honestly, I would never buy online for a Birthday Gift if it was coming up soon. You never know from any store online, if there will be a hold up.
I have never had a problem with OldNavy.com and order from them a lot. They have great sales!

Unless you pay extra for expedited shipping, you cannot be upset for not having received it. and quite honestly, it doesn't seem like too long.. it seems just about right.

If you paid for premium shipping, then I could completely see being upset. And if you did, I'd ask if you can pick it up in the store & get a full refund on shipping, etc.

If you needed the items by a certain date, why didn't you buy in-store?
I ordered a few items from ON on Monday and received the shipping confirmation notice yesterday. Free shipping and great prices so I can't complain about the delayed shipping time. I am sure they are really busy with all the recent holiday sale orders.
I also ordered several items from 6pm on Monday and have yet to receive a shipping confirmation. Again, great sale prices and free shipping so I am being patient with the delay in shipping.

JMO, but really, I think you need to expect this this time of year.
A store like Old Navy is practically everywhere anyways, so really, it's not like it's that difficult to just walk in the store and buy what you want.
I've been in and out of the stores since last weekend and honestly, all the ones I've been to are pretty empty and have plenty of good stock. You could see about just cancelling your order and go that route.
Breathe and move on. There are worse things going on, to let this ruin your day.
