Old Navy, Gap, Kohls and Gymboree are on my list of the slowest shippers ever. I don't order online from them anymore. Guess I'm used to Amazon shipping out the next day.

I ordered a bunch of stuff from ON & GAP 2 weeks ago before my trip to FL and received them all before the 5-7 business day time slot.
I would think that the big Holiday Sale kick off slowed them down...it's too be expected.

If you paid for premium shipping, then I could completely see being upset. And if you did, I'd ask if you can pick it up in the store & get a full refund on shipping, etc.
I agree.
I ordered items from gap.com on Saturday and they shipped today. They were promised to me in 10 business days - which is when they will be arriving, next Fri.
I'm annoyed though because I didn't double check my order confirmation, they are sending me something in the wrong color (but, it's my own fault).

I've ordered from ON before, and found sometimes that their site is slower to update than reality. I've had it show stuff shipped and gotten it the next day, tracking showed it shipped 2 days prior. But, I've always gotten stuff within the time frame. I have an order I placed Friday with them and it still shows it hasn't shipped but I bet I get it by next Friday at the latest.

I never buy from Gap or ON online because they take forever to ship. The actual shipping doesn't take too long, still more than other retailers, but the processing takes forever!

I ordered Friday and I just checked the tracking and it should be delivered today - 1 week. I did the free shipping and considering I bought on black friday, I'm impressed.
I've ordered from them sometimes and have gotten my shipment within 3 days of ordering. It's just a busy time of year.

I've never had a problem with them....I order a TON of items from them, especially at this time of year because of sales. I will say that things come a little slower during this time of year because of the extremely heavy traffic, but I expect that with every company and consider it a plus if it gets here in a 'normal' time period.

I ordered from Kohls online Thanksgiving night and have not gotten my order yet. It has been shipped though. Between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, everyone should expect their packages to come a little later than usual.

I ordered from Target last Friday and already recieved my order 2 days ago. I was Shocked! I wasn't expecting it til today or tomorrow.
I ordered from Toys R Us on Monday and I don't expect that order til next week sometime.
Like others said, give it more time. With Cyber Monday, I'm SURE things are backed up a bit.
I'm not sure I'd be so annoyed. It's a very busy time of year.

I placed an order on Sunday and received it yesterday (Thursday). I was very pleased. It said 7 - 9 business says for free shipping but it only took 3!

And the rep shouldn't of told me it was shipping today(Tuesday) They should of been honest. Other companies were probablly overloaded too..but I already received my stuff and they were all ordered on the same day!
Did you pay for expedited shipping? If not, I don't think you have any grounds to complain. If I remember correctly, the "free shipping" option states it will ship within 5 to 7 days. I understand that things usually come quicker than that and you are disappointed that it hasn't, but you really can't complain.

If I read this right, this is not about shipping it's about ON NOT shipping, so once it leaves the facility you still would have the 5 to 7 business days to get your item leaving you anywhere between the 16 and 20th. I would be upset too....
If they processed the order in a couple days, like the website said and then the 5-7 business days, you should have had it the middle of next week at the latest.
Glad they responded quickly, seems like they are trying to the right thing
(at least they didn't cut it up and throw it out because you complained on LIF )

This time of the year, you really need to expect delays in order processing.
If you need an item in a more timely manner you have to order with expedite shipping.

I don't think ON is slow compared to a lot of places...

I had this happen with old navy online 2x last yr when ordering maternity clothes. Stuff never shipped for a week +, and another time, eventhough I could order it, I got an email a week later saying they were out of stock!!?!
I wound up getting two 25% off coupons. Whatever. I am not thrilled with them.
