New addition to the family...(xp pets board)...UPDATE
I'm happy to report that after searching for the right sweetie pie to adopt, we think we've found her!
She's 4 years old, Pure Yorkshire Terrier, and just the sweetest!!!
We applied, got accepted, and visited her tonight! We're going back to visit "April" tomorrow again, and hopefully finalize the details!!!
I can't wait!!!!
UPDATE:
So Friday night, DH and I went to meet with "April", her foster mom "Rebecca", and the adoption agency (Linda.)
April got along very well with DH, and we were ready to take her home. We received the adoption papers (didn't sign) and told Rebecca & Linda that we'd come back to pick April up on Saturday or Sunday. Great, right? WRONG!
I got home about 45 minutes later to a voicemail from Linda stating that Rebecca (the foster "mom") was considering keeping April for herself....
Well...I just got the call from Linda, confirming that Rebecca is keeping April...so we do not have a new addition to our family.
I'm a little devestated, but I've accepted it and said "it's not meant to be right now."
So the search continues...

She is GORGEOUS. Okay, dumb question. I suppose that her hair is that short because she is groomed. I love the yorkies, but don't like when they have the really long hair. That's not a different "type," is it?

OMG Christine- adorable!!
Look at that face!! You are going to LOVE having a doggy- Vin and I can't believe how much Char has changed our lives and how much fun it is to have her around each day! We laugh at her, cuddle with her and we find that we go out and do a lot more b/c of her! So, you'll just love the addition!! The amount of love that animals give is ENDLESS!!! Congrats...
