New an so nervous!
Hi Everyone-
I am here from LI weddings board (I got married in April) I actually asked a question earlier but never introduced myself. I just got a BFP this passed Wednesday. I was in shock, I was so worried it would take so long- so excited!!! I am seeing my doc tomorrow for bloodwork to confirm(although I have taken several tests- I have no symptoms and feel like it can't be real!). Does anyone know if I need to fast- they didn't say. Also, I don't want to tell anyone yet till I at least go to the doc. DH is having a hard time without that cause I keep having to lie, he's like whats the big deal to tell people- arghhh!!! We just joined a football team and I couldn't play in the first game (said I twisted my back) and din't go to DH's friends house to watch football because I didn't want to deal with fake drinking yet- its all so overwhelming! I look forward to chatting with you all!

Re: New an so nervous!
I hear ya!! I'm not waiting to tell my parents and sisters, but everybody else I want to wait until at least that first doctors appointment when I hear the little heart beat and know that everything's good. Only 2 1/2 more weeks - it's killing me. lol.
Welcome to the board, by the way

Re: New an so nervous!
Thanks everyone! I also have cramps- I called my doc yesterday because I was worried. She said that it is normal to feel like your getting your period and she told me hydrate like I've never hydrated before- try that. I am also going for bloodwork tomorrow- Do you have any symtoms- I only have to pee alot but that is probably from all the water- LOL goodluck

Re: New an so nervous!
Welcome and Congratulations!! Do not fast for the bloodwork- it is unnecessary. And now that you are eating to grow a healthy human, make sure you are never fasting! Soon enough, you will be chowing down all the time like the rest of us! Your OB may not want you playing football... I would check with him/her about that. Take a deep breath... it is all real! Before you know it, you will have that little bundle of love in your arms!

Re: New an so nervous!
No fasting for your bloodwork. I am 10 weeks and still have no symptoms but am def PG, I had to fake drinking for 4 weeks!..I would take a beer and fake sip and then when i went to the bathroom would just dump some down the sink. When i actually told my friends theywere shocked! Nobody even know!..Go me!
Congrats!!

Re: New an so nervous!
Congrats and welcome!
So we only told out immediate family and 3 of my really close friends. I haven't had to fake drink becasue I seldom drink anyway that nobody would question it.
Good luck and have a happy and healthy 9 months

Re: New an so nervous!
welcome! I felt the same way right after finding out. We didn't tell anybody at first because i was so extremely nervous about something going wrong. I just recently started having more morning sickness throughout the day.
