I like it, but don't love it. Some other "C" names that I personally prefer are Chase, Carter and Cooper.

I like it, but I like unique names, my husband has a very unique name and people are always asking him to spell it...he doesn't mind and is proud of his name. Besides, both the middle name and nick-name you're thinking of are common

It's not a bad name. Just not one I'd pick.
But I'm more into conservative names. Like if you're looking for the "C" for CJ then I'd go with Christopher. Or another name a little more out of the box that I like is Caden.

We named DS Caden James b/c we thought we'd want to call him CJ...we never have..we just dont think he looks like a CJ..although we do call him Caden James ALOT!!!!

I say if you like it go for it. It's unique in America but popular in Scandanavia.
There's going to be alot of Chase, Caden, Carter, etc. so may as well let DS stand out. :)
