Re: new england vacation and a toddler?
we just got back from cape cod with our 18 month old. She had a great time.. we went for 4 days and basically walked around a town in the morning (chatam, provincetown) and then went to the beach in the afternoon. we went back to the hotel, cleaned up and went to dinner. We didn't attempt any minigolf or bike riding, but an older toddler might enjoy that. she looooved the beach - it was the hit of the trip.

We go to Wells, Ogunquit, and York, Maine in the spring and summer. Our kids love it. We usually go to the beach most of the day. There is a small amusement park and zoo in Wells that we have to to a couple of times. There is also a really cute lighthouse in Wells. In Ogunquit you could take a walk along the Marginal Way which is along the sea coast and it is absolutely breathtaking.
