Weekend vacation with a toddler and an infant
DH and I want to go away for either an overnight or a weekend with DS and DD in August. DS will be almost 2 and DD will be 5 months old.
We are not doing Sesame Place or Dutch Wonderland until next year.
What are some other options of places to go with a younger child?
TIA!

What about Great Wolf Lodge or the Hotel with a water park in CT?
Mystic is nice but really the only thing there is the aquarium I think.
Philly has a nice Children's Museum.
My family loves going to Boston and walking around, going to a baseball game, going to the aquarium.

Oooh yes I always forget about Philly! Great idea! We love Boston but taking a double stroller on the T is not my idea of a good time
Is Great Wolf Lodge good for a two year old?

You can come to Philly There's a lot to do around here for preschoolers.
I took Alex and Yael to East Hampton for a week when school was closed last August. Alex was 4, and Yael was 5 weeks, and we had such a nice time...

DH and I are doing "our" weekend alone on LI, so we were looking for something a bit further away. I think Philly is perfect! I'm addicted to aquariums, we'll have to find some time to fit that in too.
