So, I thought some chocolate milk with breakfast today was a good idea. Baby thought otherwise. I took two and immediately felt like I had to throw up I can't find anything this kid likes! 2 hours later and I'm still nauseus.
13.5 weeks..... when does the nausea go away?
Hopefully very soon! You are entering the 2nd Tri in a few days!

Re: NEW February Mommies to be Thread!!
I posted a separate topic on this, but wanted to let you know we heard the heartbeat last night! It was a rate of 160! I am so excited! it took a long time to actually find it- so dont worry if it takes like 5 -10 mins to find it.The baby was moving around a lot which she said was great!
I go on Monday for my nucheal test/ultra screen.
we go back for our 16wk appointment sept 3!
Woo hoo!
Feeling good today.. a little bit of lower back pain on lower left hand side, but otherwise, great!

Congrats! We heard the heartbeat at 7 wks and it was amazing. I'm going back again tomorrow, now 11.5 weeks. I am SOOO excited!!!
A lot of my symptoms have subsided in the last 2 weeks except for the constant hunger and the gas! I heard the 2nd trimester will be great, looking forward to it!

How often does everyone have OB appointments now?
I have mine every 2 weeks. I thought it was less frequent in the beginning? Bastards are just trying to drain my wallet dry I think!

You pay every visit? I only paid for like 2 visits out of 5. I guess it depends on insurance?
The visits slow down I think and sonograms come less frequently. I dont get another sono until Sept 8th! (I will be 19 weeks)

I'm thinking b/c of my shortened cervix and b/c I was high-risk last time. But it's not like they do a sono each visit. I'm going to ask them why next week.

I think so. The bill last time was . I didn't even check to see if they billed me each time, I just assumed. I don't pay now, I pay at the end.

Re: NEW February Mommies to be Thread!!
I only paid once too. I have to give them a deposit as the birth gets closer for what my insurance doesn't cover.
On another note, I got the initial results from my CVS. They all came back normal, THANK GOD! We had a loss due to a chromosomal issue and didn't want to go through that pain again.
She asked if we wanted to know if it was a boy or girl- it was SO hard to say no! I can't believe this woman knows and we don't

soo happy to hear all went well with the CVS!!.. I know isnt it nerve racking that someone knows your childs sex when you dont.. I wish we could tell the baby to cover the area with their hands when the sono tech goes near the area..

Re: NEW February Mommies to be Thread!!
Goodmorning ladies!! Just checking in with my Feb Mommies....Rolling into the 2nd Tri is going very well so far...my nausea has mostly subsided...food aversions still around, but hopefully I will be the pig I used to be soon ...my boobs still hurt tho!!! I can't sleep on my tummy comfortably at all...my headaches seem a little lighter at night and I can't wait to get some energy so I can start going back to the gym again...I really wanted to be in good shape to prepare myself for the big day...but that hasn't happened yet..Oh and I believe I just got my first dose of round ligament pain on my left side..woohoo....how are you all feeling?? Have you all gotten a chance to see your pumpkin again on an ultrasound?? Has anyone accomplished anything doing with the baby, like registering at the hospital, looking into pregnancy related classes, registering for items....I have done NOTHING...but thats ok...well I hope everyone is feeling well and getting their energy back...only about 6 MONTHS TO GO!!!!! Have a great Monday!!!

Re: NEW February Mommies to be Thread!!
Good morning February Mommies!
I'm 14 Weeks today. I go for my monthly visit to the Dr. tomorrow night. I know I won't get a sono, since I only get two and I already had my Ultrascreen. Next one will be my Level II 6 weeks from today. Hopefully the Dr. though will let us hear the heartbeat tomorrow night.
I *think* I'm starting to feel better. I haven't had too much nausea over the weekend. I was horribly sick though Thursday night.
I haven't done any preparations yet, not much to prepare for at this point. I won't start registering until I'm 21 or 22 weeks. Probably later since we'll be away during that time for the Jewish Holidays. Pre-registering at the hospital isn't until 28 weeks. Although my OB's office already set up my Childbirth Classes, every Monday night starting in December for 5 weeks. My breastfeeding class was also scheluded already for January.

Re: NEW February Mommies to be Thread!!
good afternoon ladies!
I had my ultrascreen this morning and all went well. I will be posting pics tomorrow! Dh loved every second of it!
What an amazing experience.
Baby R's heart rate was 164 today. the tech kept pushing my stomach with the sonogram thing to wake the baby up- it was still sleeping! Then, we got to see it move! So cool.
The tech said everything looked normal, just want to make sure the blood test results conincide with their findings! I am so happy!
severe fatigue is gone, but I get tired very easy when I am active.
my boobs still kill me and my tummy is nice and bloated. my family says i've popped a little. I am about 2 weeks away from being completely out of my pants and skirts. my tops are still ok though.
I go back in 2 weeks for more blood and in 6 or 7 weeks for my level II. i cant wait for that either!
They couldnt see the sex which is fine with us. but for some reason when I saw it, I thought it was a just my intuition!
How is everyone else doing?

I'm joining you ladies officially! I'll be 14 weeks on Wednesday. Feeling good, but exhausted, especially with running after my 2-year old all day. I have my GD test in three weeks since I had it last time. Besides that, all is going well with me.
