Re: New Here
By NY area, do you mean NYC or LI? And if LI, Nassau or Suffolk?
I live on Long Island, Suffolk County

Re: New Here
Welcome and I hope your stay i s short! Did you husband have a SA! For the longest time we couldn't figure out why we couldn't get pregnant but it turns out my husband has a vericocle which lower the sperm count and motility! Go to a RE ASAP It's amazing what they can do! Someone i know only hyad 1 ovary and it wasn't all that good and she had twins! It can happen. Unfortunately it takes time!

Re: New Here
Thank You Pedsnurse! No, DH has not gotten a SA. I've always thought it was Me, because I've had problems with scar tissue. Does the RE do a SA also? I just want to get this all started already so I know what's going on! Thank you for the warm welcome!

Re: New Here
Your RE will take care of the SA as well as any additional testing you may need. They will also do a complete blood work up almost immediately and again on your Cycle Day 3. ETA: Has your gyno recommended an RE? Where in Suffolk do you live? There are a few clinics in Suffolk that are very good. If you do a search on clinics here it may help you in deciding where to go.

Re: New Here
Hello and welcome...hope your stay here is short.
Both Dh and I had a hard time admitting that we were having fertility issues. We finally went to an RE after almost a year of trying.
I understand about being scared of a bad diagnosis, but I just look at it as "at least you know now" and can get some help from modern medicine.
The best of luck to you in whatever you decide.

Re: New Here
Like everyone else, welcome and hopefully your stay here will be short.
You do have age on your side, but 4 years is a long time. I am glad you decided to move on to an RE, I hope you get some answers soon.
