new here quick question
Just got my BFP on Sunday morning. I have called the Dr. and scheduled my first appointment. I was wondering which dr. appointments DH attended. I don't want to make DH take time off for appointments that are no big deal. Thanks

dh attended each one (for the first baby) with this one he has work and cant get out so he hasnt come to one yet.
But i think the 1st appointment is important, than the level 1 sonogram and level 2 sonogram.

the big ones are your first one appt., your first sono, the level 2 sono and the internals at the end. also, if you go for any sort of testing like an amnio, etc. but they do those only if they want to look at something further and they are elective. DH came to almost every appt. with me.
my OB/GYN had evening hours so DH and I scheduled them then. Neither he nor I missed work for a dr. appt.

DH only came to sono appointments. there really is no reason for him to be there for your first check-up, which will probably include a pap smear and a list of dos and don'ts.

DH came to my first appointment (8 weeks) because we didn't know what to expect. I'm glad he did because they did a sonogram to confirm the pregnancy and we sat in with the doctor and were able to ask all our questions.
Today is my 2nd appointment. I'm supposed to have an exam, pap, etc., and they're doing another sonogram to make sure everything is progressing nicely. DH is coming to this appointment too. I'm 10w3d.
