New mom with a quick question
Hi Everyone!
My name is Jen, I had my son, Jack Matthew on 8/27.. and we are so in love with him! I was originally due on Sept 9th, but he decided to make his debut a little early! I am in the process of writing my birth story... but, I went naturally, had no time for pain meds or an epi!! I will say I didn't think I could, but I did and I am so proud of myself! I won't lie and say it def hurt, but all worth it in the end for sure!!!! I am so glad to be on this board, everyone was so supportive and helpful on the PG board, and I am so excited to be on this board now! Looking forward to getting to know everyone!
I do have a quick Playtex Drop-ins ques. for those that use them..
Does everyone use the new drop-in liners, or the original? I was trying to figure out how to get the air out and there were no instructions on the package, so I called the company. They said with the new liners you don't need to express air-has this been everyone's experience? DS LOVES them and does very well w/this nipple since I am trying to nurse-haven't been successful.
Also, how do you mix formula? Do you do this in the liner or separate container then pour in??
TIA! I am looking forward to getting to know everyone-you all have beautiful kids from all the pics I have seen!!

Re: New mom with a quick question
Hi and congrats! I use the playtex drop ins and love them. When DS was tiny, I would literally use anything to puch the air out lol. The remote, the phone,a rolled up towel. Eventually I stopped pushing the air out and there were no problems. Not really sure it's necessary. I've always used ready made formula so can't help there. Best of luck!

I do the same, as for the formula. I mix it in the liner. Water then formula then stir.
