Hello LIF!
I have been lurking here almost the entire time I was pregnant, and now I can finally join! My son, Joseph, was born on May 8th. He is the light of my life, I am so in love.  I am looking forward to all of the great advice on this board, I am scared to death at this mommy thing!!

Upload your pic to Shutterfly, Snapfish, or Photobucket and then do the Image attachment...or you can add the pic to your LIF Album and do an Image attachment...

You are trying to link an image from your local hard drive. That won't work. You can attach a 60k version of your local file using the Attach Images section (the 4 boxes with the 4 Browse... buttons below the editing box), or put them on a website, like hbugal mentioned.
Welcome! DS just had his 5th b-day on the 6th, and DD is having her 2nd on the 23rd. Good month for babies, IMO...
