New Nikon Lens?
What new lens should DH get me for Christmas?
I have the normal one that comes with the D40x
It's just for every day pics of the kids

50MM F1.4 of F1.8 (there is a price difference).

I agree. The difference is the aperature. 1.4 will open the lens real wide to let in a lot of light. Love my 50 mm!
