New Parenting Documentary - Now Casting
Parents, children and teens needed for UK hit coming to America.
NEW NBC EDUCATIONAL TELEVISION PROGRAM REQUIRES BABIES & TODDLERS
ARE YOU A PARENT OF A BABY OR TODDLER?
NBC is looking for babies and toddlers to take part in a new educational show. The documentary program will feature hand-picked teenage couples between the ages of 16 and 19 who feel ready for adult life. Over a short period of time, we'll give them the opportunity to live independently from their parents and give them a taste of the responsibilities associated with adulthood.
The teens will be given the ultimate insight into what parenting is really like through an extended "babysitting" experience. This will involve caring for a baby or toddler over a few days. Incredibly high standards are in place to ensure the safety of all children involved.
Our key aim is to help the teenagers involved make more informed decisions about their own future as well as educating a teen audience about the reality of parenting.

So this means you would have to give your child over to the teenagers for a couple of days to care for them? I am confused.

I would never do something like this! I wouldn't want some stranger who thinks they know it all taking care of my child. JMO

This sounds like a reality show, not a "documentary" and I don't think I could ever do that to my child!

I would think that the teen would come to your house and help care for the baby there. I highly doubt they expect you to give up for child for a few days to strangers.

Right, I watched this programme and I would never in a million billion years take part in it. They give a baby to a set of teenagers and leave them on their own, they are filmed and they do have chaperones, but they are hands off until they need to step in. While we were watching it my husband and I said..never in one million billion years would I hand over my baby for this programme. NEVER.
