New plan and protocol
So if I get my period next week I will start a low dose BCP for only 2 weeks. Then I get my period again and do 2x daily lurpron shots then I will add in follistim and menopur for a total of 6 shots per day (lupron 4x per day and folistim and menopur 1x each).  My RE says I will probably not be a great responder but if I get at least 3 follies this time I will go to ER. In the meantime yesterday I started shots of wheatgrass juice 2x a day.

Why is he saying you will not be a great responder??? The whole idea of a new protocol is to get your to be a good responder. Best of luck!

yeah that kind of bummed me out too. But he said its not likely that someone who was a poor responder will trun into a great responder. At the end of the day as long as he shakes it up enough to get enough eggs for an ER/ET I will be happy. Pluss I am planning on proving him wrong!

yeah that kind of bummed me out too. But he said its not likely that someone who was a poor responder will trun into a great responder. At the end of the day as long as he shakes it up enough to get enough eggs for an ER/ET I will be happy. Pluss I am planning on proving him wrong!
Just to give you a little inspiration- My 1st IVF cycle stunk- Although we got 13 at ER only 2 made it to a day 3 transfer (really poor quality)...After changing up my protocol for cycle #2, we ended up with 27 at ER which got me my BFP and some left over to freeze-all blasts...Sometimes all it takes is some adjustments and your body can do wonders- I was thinking the same thing, that my cycle #2 would have the same results or worse- Thats the good part of IVF, each cycle, they learn what works for you as an individual...I'll be pulling for you and

I was thinking this as well. I just started accupuncture and the way I see it, any little bit can help.

I was thinking this as well. I just started accupuncture and the way I see it, any little bit can help.
Thanks I have been going to LI Holistic since April, 1x a week. I went 2x a week during my last stim.

I am so glad you have a new plan - and I think you should go in with the "I'll show him" attitude - that's what I did when he told me my FSH might complicate the cycle!!!
I hope this is the cycle for you!!!

thats a lot of lupron? it wont oversuppress you. My first cycle I was on lupron and didnt make many follies. Ever since no lupron, I still dont make a ton but its much better.
