New Reality Show: Long Island Princesses Unleashed
It is supposed to premier on E! on May 30th. Does anyone have any inside information about the show? I am curious where the girls are from and where the scenes were shot.

These girls make me SO angry. Seriously, I worked really, really hard to do good in high school to get into college. I didn't have rich parents so I had to take out loans to get an education. I did "all the right things" and you know what... there are no jobs and I'm struggling so much. Meanwhile, these girls are handed everything... money, cars, houses, don't go to college or if they do, spend it sleeping around binge drinking only to be rewarded with more of mom and dads money and getting a job at the family business or with one of daddys connections.... barf.
It's these girls who get shows on stations like E! which shows young girls that all you need to make it life is to be rich, shallow, a have little to no morals, rather than working hard.

Awesome! So now people can lump all women/girls living on Long Island into the 'spoiled princess' category? 
I'll be sure to remind myself that I am a spoiled LI princess as I cut out my coupons and scour Craiglist and figure out how in the world we're EVER going to afford a house here as we live paycheck to paycheck...
I loathe shows like this....
I'm not saying EVERYONE will do this, but you can't tell me that shows like this don't give a LOT of people an "excuse" to generalize...

It should be called a Fantasy show, because it's only reality for what ever so small percentage of the population of Long Island.
Love to see these girls scrub a toilet or figure out how to stretch a weekly budget at the supermarket.

So it's really happening? I remember reading an article about this a few weeks ago that this was what someone dreamed up to be the next greatest "reality" show. I can just imagine......
I don't really know ANYONE on LI who fits into this catergory that this show will probably stereotype all Long Islanders to be.

“I’m the ultimate JAP,” said Hailey. "Besides Judaism, David Yurman is our religion! I could teach youngsters how to be good JAPS…wear black spandex and Uggs, only drink Pellegrino and never, ever drink tap water.”
“I definitely think I should be the first to be cast. I’m being brutally honest. I have a huge following. The media always makes fun of the things I say and the way I talk. I’d be great for the show. I actually had the same idea three months ago only I wanted to call it 'JAPS In the Hamptons.'
We JAPS have what I like to call entitlement syndrome. I only wear designer brands, I don’t eat meat off the bone, I drink Fiji water or Pellegrino. I would rather die of dehydration than drink tap water. My signature outfit is black spandex, Uggs and white v-neck t-shirts. It’s a different mentality.

Shows like this make my blood boil. It's one thing to enjoy watching a trainwreck, it's another to reward these idiots for acting like spoiled, immature, lazy, stupid brats.
Since when did this become acceptable? Why aren't there shows out there about the people who work hard for their money and aren't all about themselves?
i despise Jersey Shore, my sweet 16, and all those shows that glorify and reward stupid people.

I wish Judaism excommunicated the bad ones. Sadly, once you are born to a Jewish woman, you are a Jew for life - no matter what. I want her Bat Mitzvah certificate revoked. She should be ashamed of herself.
