New show worth getting into
Is there any great show that gets you on the edge of your seat I can start watching and not be too much behind? I feel like I haven't really loved a show in a while since 24 was on. I have a bunch of comedies I love, but need some drama, on the edge of your seat stuff. I don't want to be too far behind either when I start.
Any ideas?? Thanks!

The Killing was AMAZING!! DH and I had to force ourselves to stop watching at night to get enough sleep!!  It was dark, moody, and just SO good. EVERY single episode ended with us wanting to know more!!! I loved it, one of my all time favorites!!
I LOVED Bloodlines, excellent acting and it just really pulled you into the characters world. So well done, I loved it!!
Those are my top two!!! For fun(ny), more lighthearted TV bingeing I loved The League, Orange is the New Black, and The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
I'm sure I'm forgetting things, I'll add more if I think of them. 
ETA - DH and I love The Affair on Showtime too! If you have Showtime Anytime you can catch up, it's 2 seasons in. The first season REALLY got great halfway through and the 2nd season was just AWESOME!! You should check it out!!

New show worth getting into
Ditto to "The Killing" and "The Fall". I also liked "Luther" and I really like "Outlander" (although it's not on Netflix yet but you can get the DVD from the library).
Others I like: Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Black Mirror, Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norell, and Sense8.

The family just started on ABC - first season. I think we're like 4 episodes in or something. I really like it so far and think it's going to be pretty good.

We have the exact same taste in shows! I LOVE Bloodline, The Affair and The Killing! (Actually I think I may have heard of Bloodline from one of your posts )

Billions is awesome. The Affair is only two seasons in and also amazing.
I'm obsessed with Game of Thrones but you'd have to binge previous seasons. Worth it though because it is incredible and I flew threw them.
I also loved Breaking Bad and SoA but it took me a couple of months to get through all of those seasons.
