Sorry I'm in hiding, but it's for privacy reasons.

Anyhow, I have a question. The egg retrieval is hopefully this Fri (1/15) and transfer is tentatively scheduled for next Monday (1/18). We're using East Coast Fertility. I'm curious what anyones experience has been with the scheduling time of the transfer. Is it first thing in the morning?? The Dr told us they'll evaluate the embryos that morning & decide if the transfer will be that day or wait another day or two. I'm just trying to prepare childcare for our DS and also what I'll do about work.

Thanks!!

Welcome to the board....hope your stay will be short and sweet.
Sounds right (though I didnt use East Coast Fert). My RE told me the same thing. They gave me a tentative date for the transfer. Once the day came they evaluated the embryos and determined if I should go in that day or wait till day 5. Its hard to make plans b/c you really dont know till the last minute if your transfer will be that particular day.

My RE's office called me the day after my retrieval to tell me if I'd be a day 3 or day 5 transfer. They also gave me the time to come in for my appointment. The transfer procedure took 10 minutes but there were 3 ladies there before me (I don't know why all 4 of us had the same time) but I had to wait an hour before being called in.

My appointment was for 9am, and I was home by 11:30.
