Thank you all so, sooooo much! I'm just so overwhelmed...and in shock right now!!! I've had 3 doctors in the last 10 years tell me that when I was ready to ttc that I would more than likely never get pregnant on my own/without help! 3 different doctors!! Add to that the fact that this is only our 1st month trying, well...you can see why I'm so scared and a bit skeptical! I'm dying to have my obgyn confirm, but they won't see me for another month. In the meantime, I'll just wait...stunned and praying!! 
You are all such beautiful people! Thank you so much for your good wishes & for your support!! Here's some magic babydust!!!

Hi ladies - So even though AF is due on Sunday, I'm going nuts & couldn't wait, so I've tested a few times already (I bought a 3 pack of HPKs) 
On Tues. & Wed. there was just the one dark line and nothing else at all. This morning, though, there was the faintest of faint lines...I mean you can't even see it unless you hold it up to your face and move it to the right angle lol So naturally I'm a lil' hopeful now, but I'm really thinking that the test is messed up somehow...so I ran out & picked up another 3-pack so that I could retest Well I just did it & I see it again (still faint as anything)! The thing is, both times the line has been a whole 1/4" away from the control line...the pix in the instructions make it look like it should be closer...does anyone know if that's true? I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high since AF isn't actually late yet & if the 2nd line that I'm seeing isn't close enough to the orig, it'll help me to remain calm  TIA!

UPDATE: Good morning! Well, I got a big fat maybe this morning...when I PO2S I wanted to see if the line got darker on a 1st Response test & I wanted to use the digital that I picked up last night, so I did both tests with my FMU - I'm crazy, I know! The digital said "not pregnant" and the pink line got A LOT darker this morning...I wouldn't call it faint anymore! So which is it?!?  I'm *hoping* that my hcg level is still just a lil' too low for the digital test to pick up since it's supposed to be so accurate. So now I wait...AF is due on Sunday, so I'm going to try & wait until then to see...I can't take any more confusion!
I used the FRER and my first BFP was so, so faint you needed to angle it in the sunlight to see it!! (That was at 10DPO) I tested each day and by 12DPO it was an unmistakable line. I didn't get a BFP on the digitals until 12DPO. A line is a line though so CONGRATS!!
