New WW plan people - Question about PIZZA points

I am very confused, always was, by WW's pizza points. They say restaurant, take out pizza is 8 pts for 1.8 of a 16 or 18 inch pie.

Well I just googled Sbarros slice nutritonal facts (which is an average slice of take out pizza) and the cheese slice is 12 pts!!!

I knew the listing they had of 8 pts had to be wrong b/c I ate the Smart ones pizza minis and 4 of them are 7 pts. So I knew that with all the cheese on a take out slice, there was no way a take out slice could be 8 pts.

What is with this??? Why do they say 8 pts? I have been miscalculating this all along apparently.

8 points is the average since pizza can be made in so many different ways and be so many different sizes.

If you have the actual nutritional info- use that to calculate. However, if you don't, you really just have to guess based on the size of the pizza.
