semi-new here....with a question about deanna's plan
hi ladies....i have posted here a few times but up until now DH and I havent been really ready to actually "try".
soo we decided we would start trying and i am wondering excatly how deanna's plan works....just thought it would be a good way to start without going through all the pain of temping and all that.
today is cycel day 8 so we . so according to the plan we should continue every other day right?
do i need to use opks or anything fancy? We just want to try without really trying if that makes sense.

According to her plan, you're supposed to every other day starting at CD8 then every day for 3 nights once you get your smiley on the opk, skip a night, then one last night for good measure. good luck! cant wait to find out who you are

I'd say if you don't want the stress of an OPK, just keep going with the every other day. If you think you are Oing or the mood strikes, then maybe add a few days! Good luck!

Re: semi-new here....with a question about deanna's plan
If you don't use OPKS, you're not actually using Deanna's Plan.
The plan is based on the use of OPKs to determine when to start BDing 3 days in a row.
If you don't use OPKs or a CBEFM then you wouldn't really know when you should be Oing ... everything else is just guesswork.
Even if you have a 28 day cycle, you don't necessarily O on CD 14 with a LP of 14 days. You could O on CD 16 with a 12 day LP and still have a 28 day cycle.
