newborn eating habit question

i noticed that DD ( at 3 weeks) has had a change in her eating patterns. she has been normally eating 3-4 hrs and btween 2 1/2 and 4 oz. but last night she woke up and only ate 1 oz before falling asleep and as hr later she took another 1 1/2 oz... 2 hrs later she had 2 oz...she seems to be eating less too...is this normal TIA

Sounds pretty normal to me. Steven was pretty consistent. But, I remember that when he would change lilke that, it was usualy followed by me having to increase his onces.

I also noticed that for the first month and a half, he pretty much at 1 oz per hour. Meaning in a 4 hour span, he would eat 4 ozs. So, like you said if he ate 1 oz, he would look for more an hour later. If he ate 3 ozs, then he would look 3 hours later.
