Newborn feeding help needed!
Is it normal for them to go from eating 4oz. to 6oz. in one day?
This morning he was barely getting the 4 oz. down and tonight he has been screaming for more food and just ate 6 oz. and I think he may want more.
I don't know if I am overfeeding (if that's possible) or what.

I fed on demand. My son ate what he wanted when he wanted. I do not think you can overfeed a newborn.

I agree. Is it possible your DC is going through a growth spurt?

I'll never forget - there was one day that Kristina drank her 4 or 5 oz, and then proceeded to drink 3 more.... Did this for a day or two, and I was  but she went back to her normal drinking shortly thereafter...
I think it's a growth spurt.

its norm. Liam sometimes takes 5oz's, sometimes 6ozs, sometimes 4ozs still.

I think it's totally normal too. In one day, my DD could take 5 oz, then later 4, then even sometimes 2 and a half...it can drive you nutty.

I think it's normal. Go by DC's wants. It may keep changing - up and down.
