newborn mommies looking for new way to interact...
I know some people don't like to introduce TV to early but the Baby Einstein baby's first moves DVD is an excellent way to play with DC. Even though Joey is only 2 months and it's for 3mos. it still gave me a half hour of new playtime with him...
there is "dance", "shake", "spin"....etc..etc.. all you can do while holding him/her. It was fun and instead of plopping him down on his playmat for a half hour it was different and he did like "watching" the things on the screen.....
just an idea, I haven't opened the other ones yet I have two others.....I'm thinking of doing this once daily with him.

ohh...we got a baby einstein set of books,dvds, etc. but i havent opened it yet.
i do keep Nick Jr on during the day. Most times i have him on the couch propped up, but not facing the tv...so he can hear it, but not be mesermized by it. I also play and sing along with the shows with him.
im going to check out the sets i have..this is good to know!!

DH & I just played with him along to it...and there is a "walk" part which ummm clearly he can't do but I held him up and DH took his legs and made him "walk" he was HYSTERICAL....it was sooooooo funny and he loved it! It was fun to interact together.
