Newborn mommies....some questions
where is your baby sleeping?
DS is almost 6 weeks old and still sleeping in the boppy in the PNP bassinett in our room
If BF...how often?
DS is still about every 3 hours like CLOCKWORK
Naps...how long are they napping for? depends....DS will nap 2 hrs or as little as 45 min if his gas wakes him up
ETA: Where are they napping?
DS naps in his swing since it's in the kitchen on the mid level where DD spends all her time.

Re: Newborn mommies....some questions
Noah sleeps in his Papsan Swing in our room next to the bed.
He naps anywhere he wants basically, The Crib, the Swing, the Boppy on the couch, the Motions Glider.
He naps all different times and amounts. Sometimes for an hour, sometimes up to 4-5 hours during the day.
He sleeps between 5-8 hours at night...closer to 8.
ETA- DS is FF and he eats every 3-4 hours about 5 & 1/2 oz's

Re: Newborn mommies....some questions
In his crib in his room (once he's been asleep long enough in my arms or hte boppy on the floor though sometimes I get lucky and he doesn't wake up in the crib).
He feeds every 2.5 to 3 hours (formula) and is fed on demand...so sometimes after an hour or after 4!
He naps when he wants to, usually a nice 4 hour nap during the day and a few 1-2 hour naps. He naps in his crib.

at night he sleeps in his crib which is in our room, if he is fussy in the middle of the night I put him in his swing...
I dont breastfeed, I pump... but he eats about every 2-3 hours...
he naps anywhere from 15min-2hours... sometimes he will nap in his swing, on a couch or on his playmat, it just depends on his mood I guess

Re: Newborn mommies....some questions
At 7 weeks:
Bella BF's every 2-3 hours
Naps - Whenever she wants and usually in the swing for a constant anywhere 2-4 hours. Sometimes if I put her down she'll be up in 15. Depends on her mood.
Sleep - She goes down anywhere from 10-11 and sleeps until 4am. Gets up for a mini feed and back down until about 7. Up for another feed and then usually goes back down for a few more hours. She sleeps in her co-sleeper next to the bed propped up in her boppy.

where is your baby sleeping? In a Bassinet next to our bed.
DS is almost 6 weeks old and still sleeping in the boppy in the PNP bassinett in our room
If BF...how often? I don't BF anymore but when I was, it was every 2 hrs. Now he's formula fed and eats every 2-3 hrs.
DS is still about every 3 hours like CLOCKWORK
Naps...how long are they napping for? depends....DS will nap 2 hrs or as little as 45 min if his gas wakes him up
DS naps anywhere from 20 minutes to 5 hrs depending on his mood and what we're doing that day. If I have him out with me, like to the mall, he'll sleep a lot more.
ETA: Where are they napping?
He naps in his bassinet or laying on me. We're slowly introducing the crib for naps.
DS naps in his swing since it's in the kitchen on the mid level where DD spends all her time.

Re: Newborn mommies....some questions
Lily will be 8 weeks on Tuesday. She sleeps downstairs in the papasan swing, or the PNP during the day, and in a basinnet in our bedroom at night (we'll be moving her into the crib in her room soon though).
She is formula fed and eats every 3 hours during the day. If she's sleeping, I'll wake her to eat. She's usually hungry and happy to eat. She eats between 4 and 6 ounces at a feeding.
This is her schedule during the day - she's pretty good at keeping to it.
8am wake up diaper change change out of pajamas into a onsie bottle back to sleep at 9
11am wakeup diaper change bath every other day change into the day's outfit bottle back to sleep at 12 *OR* we go out to visit someone or go to the store
2pm wakeup diaper change bottle stay up to play, go for a walk, tummy time, whatever I can do to keep her entertained. She generally isn't tired at this time, so she won't fall right asleep.
5pm wakeup if she fell asleep diaper change bottle sits in the papasan swing while we eat dinner sometimes she'll stay awake for a little while also
8pm last bottle of the day goes into the papasan swing to fall asleep - lights and tv off, in the room by herself usually asleep by 9 - and i bring her upstairs to bed with me around 10 or 11
Sometimes the schedule will be off by an hour if she wakes up later or earlier.

Re: Newborn mommies....some questions
where is your baby sleeping? DD is 2 wks old & sleeping in a bassinet we tend to roll around the apt. (at night its in our room)
I exclusively give her breast milk, but 95% of the time, pump, she nurses maybe once a day
She eats every 2-3 hours & has just started taking about 3 1/2 oz per feeding
She naps most of the day, in the am from 630-11am (her longest nap)
Followed by 2-3 hour naps
She mainly naps in the bassinet, sometimes in her crib or if she falls asleep in the car, we'll leave her in the carseat by us inside

Re: Newborn mommies....some questions
DS is almost 3 1/2 weeks old..he sleeps in his co-sleeper at night and will nap during the day pretty much anywhere (although he's not great in the crib b/c he likes to wake up and stare at pooh bear and the mobile)
He eats 3-4 oz every 2 1/2-3 hours during the day and is FF
he pretty much does a 4 hour sleep at night (like 9-1, or 10-2 etc depending on what time he goes down) after that initial time he wakes up to be changed and feed and goes back down, it ends up being every 3 hours or so after the initial 4 hour sleep
