Newborn Photo Question

Hi there. I am "officially" jumping over to the parenting board. My dd was born last Friday, Oct 17th. Her name is Dominique Rose and I am dying to get some professional pics of her.

Sooo...the question is -

Where did you get your newborn photos taken and were you happy with them? Also, how many weeks old was she/he?

I know they are more expressive at about 6 weeks, but I really want to capture the newborn stage.

Any info. you can provide would be great!

I got DS done at kiddie kandids he was 4 wks old. they came out pretty good!

Put a white towel over the car seat, insert baby....bring them close to a window & snap away...zoom in too!

I always found this one of the best way for photos.

Also take pictures of their hands & feet.

eta. I didn't like the guy that came to our house with the offer of a free 5x7. He didn't do a great job & was angry when I only opted for the free photo.
