Newborn Photos @ Hospital - NSUH

I know that a lot of hospitals have contracts with photographers to take newborn photo shoots. My friend jut had hers done at LIJ through Bella Baby and I fell in love with her pictures. I called Bella Baby to see if they were contracted with North Shore Manhassett, and they are not.

Does anyone know if NSUH has a photographer which offers a similar service?

I know my moms neighbor delivered there and someone did come to her room and offer newborn pics.

I saw them.. they were just OK to me.

I had the kids pics taken there last July... I was happy with the amount they took so there were a few I could choose from....

I delivered at NSUH in April and I had the pics taken by their photog and I really liked the way they came out.
Brought my own pjs for DD to wear and she put her in a quite a few poses so I had a lot to choose from. Also, FYI- htey had headbands to give you for DD to wear in the pics and they are $10, so if you're having a girl..bring your own headband!

Thanks! Any idea how much they charge for the pics? Also, do they allow you to purchase all the pics in digital format or do they only offer prints?

I delivered @ Manhassett in April '09 so they may have changed vendors - but the pics were 'eh' to me .......Nothing special at all.

(But I have a great digital SLR and am a snob about paying someone to take pics - they have to REALLY blow me away)

I will tell you - if you decide you DON'T want them tell them immediately and firmly - that PITA showed up in my room for 2 days every 1/2 hour - by the end I was just a b*tch
