I can't remember when you start bathing babies every day? I barely have time for a couple of baths a week and I'm afriad my little one is going to wind up like Pig Pen!

My daughter has never had a bath every day. It's too dry here to do that. We actually bathe her even less often now because she had so many dry patches on her skin and her scalp was a disaster. This is what the ped. recommended and it's really helping.

Re: Newborns & Baths

I give me DS a bath twice a week, he is 11 weeks old
Unless I know he was sweating or got dirty that day (doggie kisses, lots of spit up)

We started giving our Pigpen a bath daily as part of the bedtime routine at around 5/6 weeks. Its great, as soon as he is out of that tub, he is exhausted and ready for sleep!!!

Re: Newborns & Baths

Christopher started having baths daily when he was a month old. Mainly we started then just to start a routine with him.
