Newborns and eye movement
Did/does anyone else's newborn roll their eyes in the back of their head while drifting off to sleep or waking up? It sort of looks scary. I know the nurse in the hospital said it's because they lack muscle control over their eyes but it still frightens me. He's only 3 weeks old.
He will roll them back and forth and flutter his eyes.

Yes my DD did that...we have a pic of it too and it looks scary! If you're really uneasy about it call your PED and ask

Yup..DD's eyes are all over the place when she's falling asleep. At one point they both go in opposite directions lol
PED said it was totally normal

Very common for at lesat the first 2 mths, my ped told me so. Eventually it does stop.

Totally agree. It would freak my DH out so much he asked the ped.

almost six months and he still does this if he falls asleep while i'm feeding him.
