Newborns sleeping during the day...

How long do they normally sleep alot during the day? How many weeks?

When should they start being more awake during the day?

I forgot with DS

DD is 2 weeks and still sleeps most of the day and sleeps between 3-4 hour stretches at night...going back to sleep after each feeding.

Girl u know my story, Gianna had a nickname, NARC, for narcoleptic (SP?)
uh huh, cause she slept a lot and was never awake.

I think finally around 2 month she opened her eyes for longer than a min

Nah, maybe sooner but in same boat...i cant remember!
