I think I lost my mucous plug last week and I've been having contractions on and off for a week or so already  I don't think they're Braxton Hicks, they feel different.
I go back for a NST and growth sono tomorrow so we'll see what the OB says but I can't see  waiting until 1/30 to come out.

I'm getting upset; I woke up w what I thought was a cold, and it seems like its more flu-like. I'm in pain all over, have had chills all day, heavy chest, only a slight fever, but I'm miserable. Baby is due in less than a week and if we couldn't have him in the room w us after he's born I'd be so sad but I wouldn't want to get him sick either. It hurts to pee, it hurt when my eyes teared-up at a sad movie...if THAT hurts, I can't imagine what labor would be like feeling like this. I am hoping & praying he's not born until I feel better. :(

I'm told I may go early, but not sure exactly when. My fluids finally started looking better last week and have held on at 6.5...
as soon as they drop, I'm told I would be induced.
I just joined the local library and rented a lamaze/childbirth video (for free!!) it was 4+ hrs long and very informative. But it gave me nightmares  I think I'm more scared now!
I'm so excited for all of us! We have been on this journey together for almost 9months and will soon be updating our profiles with our children's pictures.

39 week check up today at 2:30!!! Besides the fact that I have a cold and a sore throat, I am feeling good. Why do I have to get sick now?????? I dont want to be sick when she comes. Cant wait to see what OB says later. Maybe he can tell me something good I can take to feel better.

thank you...feeling a little better today and have my weekly appointment, so i'm gonna let my OB know what's going on and see if he has any suggestions. but if i feel better today, maybe i'll be ALL better tomorrow...what a relief that would be!
don't let the video scare you...once you're in there it'll be nature taking it's course and you and your body will know what to do. i'm sure it's not easy, but we'll all just get in there and do it...and then we'll be so happy to see our babies, it won't even matter anymore how hard it was!
good luck to you!! and to all the January mommies!!! can't wait until we are posting pics and sharing our stories!

I'm excited that January is here. Have a ton going on right now, so not quite ready for baby to come (we are due 1/23) just yet.
On Thurs 1/5 we go for a growth sono, and I will make my final decision on whether or not I want to attempt a VBAC or do a scheduled C-section. I am just SOOOO torn I cannot make up my mind.
My first DS was 9lbs 3oz., I labored for about 22 hours and pushed for 3 and he just wouldn't move he was so big. So due to my reason for a c-section it does decrease my odds for being successful. So on Thursday we'll see how big this little one is and go from there.
I'm holding strong with being Team  , and want to stress to the tech on thursday that I want it to stay that way!!!
Otherwise I'm super uncomfortable and this baby has definitely internally bruised me, but I cannot wait to meet the little one!!!!
How's everyone else doing???

I won't lie its hard. Its a huge change in schedule but I know its just for a bit and I will adjust. I wouldnt trade it for anything when my DS looks up at me and smiles.

Im finally 37 weeks today and have a possible induction date for 2 weeks from today!
I think there's a full moon coming next week though so lets see how many of us go early

I am 36 weeks and have a scheduled c section for the 24th....everyone says I am going to go before that so lets see what that full moon brings....

I am still here and still pregnant with 5 days left. I was really hoping baby would have been here by now. I walked 2 miles yesterday and plan to do the same. As of last Sunday I was not dilated AT ALL and I still haven't lost my mucous plug.

Bumping for updates...
My son was born 1/14 via induction.
I will post more when I get the chance...I had no idea how hard it is the first week!!!
Good luck to the rest of you left. Hope you have an easy labor and recovery.
