Next steps in the TTC journey with an RE
So, DH and I went to see an RE a few weeks ago - they took loads of blood to do testing and did an ultrasound to check for cysts or fibroids. I'm all clear there. They put me on Clomid this month and I went back for an ultrasound this weekend and i've apparently got quite a few eggs floating around in there now (woohoo). I had an HSG done today to check out my tubes, and those are apparently all clear (that procedure SUCKED btw)
So, now we enjoy our BD'ing for this month and keep our fingers crossed that things work for us!
At least we know that there are no issues we have to contend with, just timing/luck.
This is a hell of a journey i tell ya!

Re: Next steps in the TTC journey with an RE
If you dont mind me asking, how long were you TTC before you went to an RE? I have only been trying for 2 months but I have yet to get a positive on any OPK's and I am wondering when I should start getting worried and make an appointment to see if in fact I am ovulating!
Good Luck this month

We've been trying for 9 months now, and i'm about to turn 37. I know it can take 2-3 months for your cycle to regulate itself, so maybe that's why you're not getting + on the OPK's yet. If after 4 months you still can't tell if you're ovulating, then maybe give your gyno a call to see if they can help you.
good luck!

Re: Next steps in the TTC journey with an RE
'they' say that sometimes an HSG can help make you more fertile that month because it opens up/cleans out the tubes
so, fingers crossed!! i'm only on CD 8 right now, so i've got a long 3 weeks ahead of me.
thanks for the well wishes everyone!
