NFR: Vet recommendations?
Sorry to post here it seems it's more active here then on the pet board. I was wondering if someone could recommend a good vet preferably in the suffolk county area? I live in Medford but willing to travel. I took my dog last week to a vet near me but she's still not doing well. TIA

Re: NFR: Vet recommendations?
Love Dr. Ken Gantt. He came HIGHLY recommended. He he kind and sweet with our dog, and VERY thorough. He takes the time with our dog and makes sure he is well and healthy. But Dr. Gantt takes his time.

Re: NFR: Vet recommendations?
I know I don't post very much but I can not say enough good things about Towne Line Vet Group. They are wonderful. I have a bulldog named Miller and they have been fantastic with him. Not to mention that when we have had a problem they are always reachable via phone or email. And they are not always trying to charge/sell you something.
They cleared up our dog's chin acne by just mentioning we should switch from stainless bowls to ceramic. The bulldog "speciialist" we were going to before for a couple of years never even said that was a possibility.
I live in Nassau (Farmingdale) and it's worth it to go to them even though it's a bit of a drive to go to Hauppauge. I really love their whole group and especialy Marc Gurtman. I can not say enough good things about them. You can tell everyone there really loves what they do.

Yes! Love them. I had one dog with pneumonia, and one had eye surgery and they were so great with both. I actually forget the Drs name, but they are all great there.
