Nice, warm boots? For my mom - suggestions please!!!

I wanted to get my mom a pair of Uggs for Christmas. She tried on my Ugg Cargos and didn't like them on, but they were too big for her, so I don't know if she didn't like them because they didn't look right (too big) and then maybe she'd like them if they didn't look like clown shoes on, and actually fit her, KWIM?

Or should I get her another type of boot completely?

I'm thinking warm, winter boot. No heel. Something she can wear out everyday and to work, but be warm and comfy.

In the $150 range.

They were too big how? The foot part? I got my mom the ankle height Uggs. They are $120.
