Those are going to be some lucky babies
Has she ever confirmed if this was a natural pregnancy?
I don't think that's something she would want to talk about, it's kinda private. They talked about their fertility issues and the hardships they went through, I think they referred very cryptically to this being assisted in some way.

While I am happy for them, I don't think she is being honest about her fertility issues. As one who struggled to get pregnant, what a voice she could have about infertility and its struggles! It is a missed opportunity!
I had fertility issues as well and I strongly disagree. If they did have issues, they are private and they don't owe anything to anyone. I don't believe celebs need to become spokespeople. Lord knows I wanted to get PG without assistance. Imagine every step you take being in front of a camera - I can't begin to think about a celeb going to an RE's office. Ive been as many as 5 times in a week.
I have to agree here.
Just because you are a celebrity does not mean all the sudden that you have to share intimate issues about family issues like IVF, adoption or having a child with special needs.
John Travolta and his wife were criticized for not being spoke people for autism after it was officially announced that their late son had autism and they never made it public. That they could have been great autism advocate. Honestly, it was nobody's business and so unfair to expect them to do so. They owed nothing to anyone.
It is up to parents' choice to release the information they choose to release.

I thought John Travolta outright DENIED that Jett had Autism though- that to me is not right. It's one thing not to advertise or automatically be a poster child, but another thing to deny. That makes me think they were ashamed of who their son was.

Re: Nick Cannon: Mariah Carey and I Are Expecting Twins
I would assume she went through fertility treatments. She is 40 years old expecting twins. Does it happen naturally? Maybe sometimes...but with those two factors alone, I'm sure she went through fertility treatments...
Congrats to them! It's wonderful news regardless of how it happens..and I don't think anyone needs to talk about something that private regardless of their status. It's such a personal thing...if they CHOOSE to, great! but in no way should they feel obligated.

See, i disagree...just b/c they deny it to the public doesn't mean a thing. It may not have been something Jett wanted the world to know about. Autistic children can be very aware, smart, sensitive etc...the parents may have asked him at some point if he cared what the public thought and it may have been something he wanted private. Or maybe the parents just plain out wanted to protect him from being a poster child for a disorder that is still very misunderstood...
They loved their son so so much. You could tell through the interviews about him, the way they were with him. I'm sure they recognized his autism and dealt with it in their own way and were very accepting of it.

I completely agree w/this.
My son had a bunch of developmental delays/questionable pdd-nos diagnosis, etc...I only ever told close family and friends. I was very protective of him and always will be. I let people see him for him, and if i got close enough, i'd let them in on what was going on...most people had no clue he had issues. It's a very very personal thing to share...
