omg my poor kid has a hundred nicknames.
he's pal, dude, buddy a lot
DH calls him Log (sounds like LOHg), logeylogeylog, monkey, monkeyface, chunkaman, stinkyface, snugglebuddy, etc.
my special name for him is "lovekin"

My DS also is Owen and we call him the exact same 3 nicknames DH calls him Buddy a lot. I use "O" or "O-Dog" more than Buddy. Too funny!!!!

I hate cutsey nicknames - SIL call Sean "Monkey" I don't say anything, but I absolutely CAN NOT STAND it !!
I call him "Boss" or "Little Man" - but it's usually just Sean (sometimes I'll slip and call him Sean-y...........which I also hate  )

James is just usually The Bug, Bug, Buglet, Bugaloo, Bug-a-bug, or Boogs.
Every now and then, DH and I will call him Jimbo. I hate it, but it's kind of cute.

Well Ryan started calling Caroline Caroloon, this has since evloved into Caroloonie which became Carolina-loonie-pants or just loonie-pants. There is also Princess Pickles, Pickles, poopedy-poop,boodha-baby (also called Ryan this)mini-muffin just to name a few.
Ryan was budha-baby,monkey, monkey man, Ry-Ry, munchkin,Henry, iknow there are a ton more but I can't think.

I generally dont do nick names though. But Nanas is a family thing and since she's old enough to know her name is Arianna and others used to call her that in her old daycare as well as my aunt ... she thinks of herself as "Nana" which is her way of saying ariANnA. haha
Now this daycare calls her AJ so she'll probably use the Nana thing. But it is cute when she sees her portraits in our house she squeals and says "nana"

DS's name is Peter Antonio and before he was born my 2 year old neice would call him Pierre. So that is his nickname.
