Nicole Richie IS Pregnant?
TMZ has independently confirmed that Nicole Richie is pregnant.
The starlet has been dating Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden for over six months. Rumors have been swirling for months that Richie and Madden were expecting, but TMZ has confirmed through several sources that she is, in fact, with child. In Touch magazine is also reporting that the couple will wed this summer. Richie is currently facing DUI charges stemming from her arrest last December, when she was found driving the wrong way on a California highway.
Richie's trial is set for July 11. If convicted, she faces a minimum of five days in jail.
Richie's rep did not return repeated calls for comment.

this is the grass is always greener scenario.
She is not a happy person, she will not have a happy relationship and although I don't wish her or her baby harm, I have a feeling she will have a very hard time with this.

Ditto. I hope that she uses the remaining months of her pregnancy to do some major introspection and cleaning up of her act. Regardless of the money she has, her child could be subject to many of the issues its' mother was exposed to growing up in wealth and fame. I, for one, pray that she becomes healthy both mentally and physically so she can be a good mother.

How can you say that its not fair for someone to get pregnant??? I don't think thats right at all...it happened, its God's will...and like Leslie said, lets just hope that she becomes healthier and cleans up her act as the baby inside of her is developing...

No, we do not know her, but and as I said, according to what we see of her, she is barely taking care of herself. She's lucky she has money and family. If she wasn't famous, if she didn't have cash oozing from her pockets, if she didn't have the ability to get a nanny, then you would already know the endiing to this story. And the irony is that here is this crack addict and she'll go on to have a perfectly healthy child and yet, think of how many women do ALL THE RIGHT things in their pregnancies and even during their whole entire lives and yet have babies born with things we can't even fathom. I still am on the side that it is unfair. Especially after reading Barb's Behr's story.
I do see your point and you're right, we don't know, don't know who she really is and much of what she does could be for shock. But based upon what we do know, what we have seen of her, her past behaviors and indiscretions...well, based upon that, I can't help but feel sorry for her.

Steph, I couldn't agree with you more...what we hear in the media are just bits and pieces of her life...she seems to be taking care of herself now...I can't believe how judgmental people tend to be. Face it, she is pregnant, whats done is done...she has to take care of herself NOW...forget about what she did in the past.

Did anyone watch Simple Life?? And that was stuff she did on TV
She obviosly has an eating disorder. She was driving while mixing vicodin and marijuana. Yes we all make mistakes, but for her to get knocked up by her boyfriend of five minutes, and there are women who have been trying for YEARS and treat their bodies much better than she does, I can see how one with IF issues is mad at the world right now.

none of are- I personally wont believe she is pregnat till I see her with a baby- I don't take US weekly as fact- it's entertainment
