No, but I never stated she was or wasn't one or the other either way.  You did say that she was not a crack addict.
The point is, none of us know her that well (or, I thought, maybe there was chance you did so I asked if you could confirm before I just assumed). So whether you are trashing her or defending her, none of us can claim to know for sure.

My goodness, either way, heroin shooter or crack head, I agree that her past actions suggest that she would not be the most mature or responsible parent. As someone who is TTC myself and putting myself in the shoes of someone dealing with IF, Nicole Richie getting pregnant is not something I'd say is a good thing and may even seem a little unfair.

I am sure her past actions do cause some hesitation as to whether or not she will be a good parent, but the truth is, we do not know her personally and everyone deserves a second chance. This may be the best thing that ever happened to her. And I am saying that as someone with IF issues! Any baby to me is a blessing from above. I wish her luck...

I agree and I also am dealing with IF. I think being jealous or feeling envious of anothers pregnancy is a total victim mentality and does no one any good. JMO

ITA - if she is in fact pregnant, I hope that it helps her gain/keep a good perspective on life and that motherhood will be her #1 priority. She's messed up in the past, but that doesn't have to define who she is for the rest of her life.

Unless I missed it, I don't think anyone came right out and said she didn't deserve to be pregnant. From someone that is also dealing with IF issues, (and I'm totally NOT playing the victim), it's hard to digest seeing someone (anyone... celebrity or not) that is not trying to get pregnant get pregnant just like that, when there are those of us, that eat, sleep and breath our lives around getting pregnant, that simply cannot. I'm happy for anyone that is blessed with the miracle of having a baby, I truly am. But yes, sometimes it's hard to NOT have that "why not me" when I'm doing everything in my power to live a healthy lifestyle for the sole purpose of bringing another life into this world. JMO....
