Night Terrors/Sleepwalking???
Something else to worry about now. So i'm sitting in my room doing some work and i hear my son making these whimpering sounds. I assumed he was having a bad dream. He wasn't screaming...just light whimpering. So out of curiosity I stuck my head in his room only to see him standing there rubbing his eyes. I was so surprised to see him standing until i realized that I really think he was still sleeping. I only realized that after I picked him up and he instantly passed out in my arms.
He's 15 months and has been waking up multiple times for months now. I thought it was teething and could have been. Plus I know he's at that age.
But tonight kind of startled me. I need to hook up the video monitor again. Oh, reason I was startled is because my DH, at 30, still gets night terrors. Scares the living crap out of me. Never thought about the possibility that DS will have them too until now. Not sure I can deal with living with two of them.
I don't think these are night terrors because he's not screaming and startled. But I do think he is standing up while he is still sleeping and causing him to eventually wake. Is that possible? The sleepwalking concept is ironic to me because he doesn't walk yet. Who knows, maybe he'll learn in his sleep.

It's possible. I would just go around his room tomorrow, and make sure that its complately babyproofed. Also, I would put a baby gate at his door, that way he does not wander the house.
GL Its scary when they do that.

he's in a crib...no way he can get out. Door is closed so he can't get out. Besides, he won't get far. he can't walk.

Doh! I just re-read what you wrote and for some reason, the fact that he is only 15 months old completely escaped me. Sorry!
I really do hope that this is a quick phase that he outgrows SOON!
